Plaster reproduction of an Ife Bust
Summary
This bust is a reproduction of a brass original Ife bust. This object was the creation of the Yoruba people of Nigeria. Ife is the name of the region in Nigeria where the Yoruba royalty and clergy went about their lives. The object appears to have been primarily used as a portrait of rules, typically kings. Timeframe of creation for the replication is not identified, but the original is estimated to have been created in a pre-colonial period between 1600 and 1630.

Plaster Cast of Bust of Nefertiti
Summary
This item is a plaster cast of the famous bust of Nefertiti, the chief wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten of Egypt. It is a reproduction of the original, which was discovered in 1912 in the ruins of a studio that belonged to Tuthmose at el-Amarna.The Spurlock Museum obtained its copy in 1948 from the Lorado Tafts collection of casts. The original is housed in the Neues Museum).
